As part of the celebration for Read Across America Week, several members of the faculty and staff at District 7 Elementary shared their favorite books. Additionally, they gave explanations for why each of the books was their favorite!

 

 

        
Civic Oration Contest at District 7 Elementary

On February 21, 2020, students, staff, and faculty members gathered to listen the fifth grade students present their civic oration speeches. Previously, those students conducted research and then wrote, edited, and practiced presenting their speeches. Class presentations were conducted and the winners from the class presentations.

K’Nex Education in Kindergarten

Recently, students from Ms. Steedly’s kindergarten class read Bear’s New Friend by Karma Wilson. Afterward, they used K’nex Education pieces in the media center to design and create new lairs for Bear.

        
District 7 Elementary’s Fundraising Rock

So many students, family members, and special friends used the fundraising rock in front of
District 7 Elementary during the 2018 – 2019 school year!  We would like to thank all of the families, staff, and students who utilized this way to raise money for D7ES.
