February 2–6 is National School Counseling Week! We thank our CCS school counselors for supporting students’ academic success, well-being and future goals. February is Black History Month, a time to honor the achievements, history and contributions of African Americans who have shaped our nation and our community. All aboard the Soul Train as we celebrate Black history and the powerful journey toward success! 🚂✨ Students in grades K–5 will share inspiring stories of courage, creativity, and excellence that helped pave the way to a brighter future. Join us for an engaging ride through history that honors the past and inspires tomorrow. Join us on Thursday February 26 at 5 pm.
William H. Owen Elementary is the home of the Roadrunners and a proud member of the global community! Owen provides authentic, engaging instruction to provide students with the best opportunities to learn and grow. Supported by a dynamic Student Services Team that includes a full-time professional guidance counselor and social worker, our staff strives to meet the social-emotional needs of students to maximize students' healthy development.
Owen offers an exciting educational option via a Spanish Immersion Program for students in Kindergarten through the Fifth Grade. Entering the program as new Kindergarten learners, students receive all core instruction in the Spanish Language.
