During the 24-25 school year, District 7's Green Team came in at 1st place in the Top 10 Schools Audit Performances. This was part of CCS Go Green Initiative. This year, the members of the Green Team are continuing their recycling productivity. The team is divided in groups of 2 and 3 students that cover certain sections of the building. They roll large blue recycle bins up and down the hallways and stop at offices and classrooms to empty their smaller recycle bins. Additionally, members of the team visit the offices and classrooms and so audits to ensure that recycle bins are not being used as trash cans.
